about ashley

Ashley Curl is a licensed clinical social worker, certified group psychotherapist, restorative practice facilitator and organizational consultant. She offers clinical psychotherapy for individuals and families, groups for teenagers, and adults; and home-based, doula-informed therapy during the perinatal period (TTC to post-partum). Consultation is available for groups and organizations on transformative and restorative justice practices, self-care practices for helping professionals, group work practice and lifespan comprehensive sexuality education. Ashley enjoys facilitating experiential learning and has lectured in multiple schools of social work and organizations on the east coast.

Ashley is licensed to practice clinically in both New York State and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her current practice serves persons residing in both states: virtually for New Yorkers, and virtually and in-person for Virginians. Ashley resides in Virginia, close to Washington, D.C., where she sees clients in local wilderness and parks, as well as in her Falls Church office space. She lives with her partner, two children, mastiff puppy, and too many books. When not engaging in healing justice work, she can be found in walking in the woods, researching seeds and composting, and generally enjoying beauty in the large and small complexities of the planet.
