Ashley Curl is a licensed clinical social worker, activist, certified group work practitioner, and DONA trained post-partum doula. She offers clinical psychotherapy for individuals and families, groups for kids, teenagers, and adults; and home-based, doula-informed therapy during the post-partum period. Consultation is available for groups and organizations on comprehensive sexuality education, self-care practices for helping professionals, group work practice and anti-racist, anti-oppressive principles. Ashley enjoys facilitating experiential learning and has lectured in multiple schools of social work on the east coast.

Ashley is licensed to practice clinically in both New York State and the Commonwealth of Virginia. Her current practice is primarily virtual and may serve persons residing in both states. Ashley resides in Falls Church, Virginia, outside of Washington, D.C., where she is developing an outdoor practice in a local private garden. She lives with her partner, mastiff puppy, and too many books. When not engaging in healing justice work, she can be found in walking in the woods, perusing poetry and field guides, and generally enjoying beauty in the large and small complexities of the planet. She also enjoys throwing on the potter’s wheel, the harmonica and being near in bodies of water.
